Hello buddy!

Embryology is the branch of biology concerned with the study of fertilization of eggs and development of embryos.

So basically embryologists track fertilization and embryo development in embryo lab.

So to become Embryologist
  • One has to pass 12th
  • One has to complete bachelor's degree in biological science (Bsc.)
  • Followed by post graduate qualification preferably in assisted reproductive technology or embryology or biotechnology
  • Formalized curriculum for scientists encompassing 1 or 2 years of instructive, theoretical, and practical training in embryology.

In today's world embryologists have got ample number of opportunities to work in clinics, industry and research organisation that deals with IVF.

Now due to our sedentary lifestyle there is more number of impotency in population and some willing to have kids after certain age through IVF.
So the demand for embryologists is growing day by day. Becoming an Embryologists would be a great choice.

Good luck for your future
Best wishes!
