Can I do GNM nursing (regular) and BA (correspondence) at the same time? Is it possible? And will it have any value
Dear Student,
According to a decision made by the UGC at a meeting in MAY 2020, Indian students can now gain from earning dual degrees as well. It was passed in order to educate better students in India who could compete in the growing job market and professional environment.
So yes you can earn dual degree at the same time. Education is never a waste of time. It pays off in the right time. If you’re thinking of doing both degree then you should definitely go for it.
scope of GNM nursing - You
can choose from a wide range of sectors where there are GNM Nursing openings. You may register with the State Nursing Registration Council as a nurse after completing the program. The course is centred on the care, rehabilitation, or treatment of patients. Other information about the GNM Nursing course includes the fact that students are specifically trained to help physicians treat patients effectively and efficiently.
Salary - 2-4lakh per annum
There are many scopes of BA but if you’re thinking about going to medical sector then I would suggest you to do other diploma courses side by side which is related to medical.
There are diploma courses like DMLT, diploma in nutrition, diploma in radiography, diploma in public health etc.
That way you can use both of your degree in your career hunting journey. More about the course -
