Can I do MA in Journalism after doing plain B.A. ?

Hello.
Yes, you can do MA in journalism after BA in any stream or plain, according to the basic eligibility criteria you need to complete your UG course in any discipline from any recognised university, there is seperate admission procedure for all Universities their UG percentage cutoff may vary accordingly some of the University also demand bachelor degree in journalism or mass media in order to give you admission in MA in journalism but in majority of Universities you are eligible to take admission.

Hello Aspirant ,

MA journalism or master in journalism is a two years post graduation course in mass communication. Journalism is activity of writing in newspaper or broadcast news in television or radio.

You don't need have bachelor in journalism to pursue for the masters. Even if you hold any bachelor degree you are free to pursue this course. It's eligibility criteria is any degree in Bachelor with minimum 40% marks.

Subjects in journalism:-

1. Radio journalism

2. Photo journalism

3. TV journalism

4. English communication etc.

Types of jobs:-

1. News Editor

2. Content writer

3. On AIR jobs

4. News Director

5. Senior writer etc.
