Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, formerly West Bengal University of Technology, is a state university located in Kolkata, India.
Placements :The college has good placement records, some renowned companies like Microsoft have visited the college. A good number of students have placed through campus placements every year. The average salary package offered is around 5 lacs per annum, but some brilliant students can get above 10 lacs per annum. The college doesn't provide internships, but they will help you to find one. One can get a minimum stipend of Rs. 3,000 during the internship, but students who got internships in good companies can get a higher stipend. There is a placement cell, and it is very active. They prepare students for placements.
Infrastructure :The infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus as well as in the hostel. Labs are very good, and at least two labs are present for each practical subject. Classrooms are spacious, and almost ten classrooms are available. They are clean. There is a library which consists of many books. Medical facilities are good. There is a playground on the campus where students can play sports. Quality of food in the canteen is good, and every food item is provided.
Faculty :The number of faculty members present in the college is very good. They all are helpful and well-qualified. They teach beyond the syllabus. They are very knowledgeable. They don't use any special teaching methods; they teach according to the students.
