No, you can't do MD in allopathy after BAMS degree for that you need MBBS degree.

Below is the scope of BAMS

The career opportunity after the completion of BAMS is not only in India but also in foreign countries. Many organizations are working in the manufacturing and research field in abroad are requiring the professional in this field.

Job opportunities also exists in government sector. One can get job in government ayurveda hospital as  ayurvedic pharmacist. After the completion of this course, candidates also have opportunity to open their own retail shop of Ayurveda medicines.

Teaching field is also open for BAMS graduates. They can find employment in private and government ayurveda Institutes.

Some universities provide the stipend around 40 thousand to 50 thousand per month to the post-graduate doctors in Ayurvedic field. In the job an Ayurvedic professional may get the salary from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50000 according the role and nature of his/her job profile.

Good Luck!!

My dear Shefali, I don't know what degree you are carrying or how much is you knowledge level. This is just for your information that any BAMS can definitely pursue MD. In the question which you answered, the query was only regarding pursuing MD and not MD in allopathy. So please make this picture very clear for you firstly before giving such answers and misguiding anyone. Just like MBBS, BAMS is also a graduation level degree and just like anybody can pursue MD after MBBS as a post graduation degree in allopathy any BAMS can also pursue MD as a post graduation degree in Ayurveda. There are multiple colleges all over India both private and government where any candidate can go for MD admissions after BAMS.
Another thing I would like to let you know that the salary that you mentioned in your answer is also not justifiable because any BAMS can get that much depending on the industry or locality he or she is working and salary of a post graduate (MD or MS) can even reach upto 1 lack or may be above as per the experience. So, it is my humble request to you, please do not misguide or mislead anyone regarding Ayurveda as it is a pathy which originated in the ancient times when there was no existence of any other pathy. Ayurveda is a science of life and due to this reason it has a very good scope all over the world.
