Hello there,

Hope you are doing well,

MSc IT is postgraduate program with the duration of 2 years. For admission in MSc IT there are certain criteria that an individual needs to fulfill, these are :

  • Individual needs to complete their bachelor's degree in science in physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science or any other related subjects
  • Student wish to pursue MSc has to complete 10+2+3 with minimum 50% marks.

Bsc Biotechnology has completely different subjects than IT. Biotechnology deals with subjects of life science such as biology, DNA etc however for MSc IT you need to have sufficient knowledge about the computer science. You can do your MSc in biotechnology itself or MSc molecular biology, this can be an appropriate option for you.

Hope you find this helpful

All the best!!
