Can I do M.tech in biotechnology after B.Sc in biotechnology..?
Hello,
You cannot do M.Tech after B.Sc. The eligibility criteria for M.Tech in Biotechnology is that a candidate should have a minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in B.Tech Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology. You should have valid GATE score or should have appeared in exams like OJEE,IPU CET, KIITEE.UPSEE and other entrance exams. The curriculum of Bachelor's in science and Bachelor's in Technology is totally different specially in complex subjects like Biotech.Hence, you cannot pursue M.Tech after B.Sc.Although you can apply for M.Tech in Biotechnology after completing M.Sc degree.
I hope this helps.
Dear.
Yes, one can pursue MTech after successful completion of a BSc degree if the course is of 4-year long duration. But if one has completed BSc with a 3-year undergraduate degree then students need to complete their MSc. first before applying for MTech. So for pursuing MTech after MSc, an MSc degree is considered valid for MTech admissions. Eligible candidates may also be required to qualify in an MTech entrance exam.
Also, who have completed their BE/BTech degree with a valid score in GATE are eligible for ME/MTech degree course.
Hope this helps!
