can i do phd course after bsc or MA???
Hello!
One is not eligible for admission in PhD after BSc. The minimum academic qualification for admission to Ph.D is MA or equivalent degree in the relevant subject awarded by a recognised university in India, with at least an average of 55% of aggregate marks. Candidates who have an M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded by a recognized university are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D Programme. Some universities prefer candidates with NET or JRF.
Hope this answers your query.
Hello,
Yes, you can pursue an Integrated Ph.D. after doing a BSc. There is a difference between a regular Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. If you want to do a regular Ph.D., the minimum qualification required for this course is an masters degree in your respective field. Without that, you can’t apply for it. The course duration is a minimum three years and maximum 5 years. While the candidates can apply for an Integrated Ph.D. right after completing their graduation and the duration of this course is 5 years.
You can also persue regular Ph.D. after M.A. well it is more time consuming than integrated Ph.D. . Integrated pH.D. is mainly for science, technology and engineering courses.
