A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education must last at least three years, including course work, and no more than six years. Extension beyond the above limitations will be restricted by the applicable clauses as provided in the specific Institution's Statute/Ordinance offered by Glocal University, Saharanpur.

Criteria for Eligibility

Master's degree from a UGC-approved university/institution or any other qualification recognised as equivalent in the disciplines of education and study as declared by the university from time to time. Minimum of 55 percent in the qualifying examination or comparable GPA/CGPA (e.g. 5.5 on a 10-point scale) (5 percent relaxation of marks or CGPA for SC/ST candidates).
