can i do PhD in Life sciences after doing MSc in Biotechnology?

Ofcourse you can do Phd in life science as Life Sciences is dynamic order wherein, practically all subjects are interlinked with one another and you could draw derivation taking any two subjects.
In research, each target must be explained with clear intention and exact legitimization so keep in mind of that before going ahead. Research should be done from a good university and if you are not able to get admission in a good college, then you might not gain much knowledge out of that Ph.D. Top Colleges for research:Delhi University,University of Hydrabad,Jadavpur University,Jawaharlal Nehru University,Lovely Professional University,Jamia Mililia Islamia University,Banaras Hindu University,Aligarh Muslim University,University of Mumbai, Christ university, MS Ramaiah University,The Maharaj Sayaji Rao University, Anna University, Indira Gandhi National Open University (New Delhi)
Hope this helps you
Hi Aspirant,
Yes you can do phD in Life sciences after doing Msc in Biotechnology. But you have minimum 55% marks in your Msc in Biotechnology.
You have to write phD entrance test conducted by the university.Otherwise If you have got CSIR NET score, then you will be preferred over other candidates for Ph.D admission.
Thank you.
