can i do polytecnic after 10 class

Yes, You can do polytechnic after 10th class. I have some friends who joined polytechnic college after 10th class.Some of them are working in good companies with decent salary. If you have good academics and extra curricular activities then you stand good chance to get a job from college itself.

There are so many government and private colleges which offer this course. They take admissions on the basis of merit.

Eligibility criteria :

1) For First Year Admission:-Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the SSC (Std.X) examination from their respective State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent, with subjects Maths/Mathematics, General Science and English,with minimum 35% aggregate marks.

2) For Direct Second Year Admission:-Candidate should be Indian and must have passed HSC Science or HSC (Bifocal/Technical) or HSC (Vocational/MCVC) Examination from State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or SSC with 2 years duration ITI/ITI COE with 3 modules with appropriate specialization or its equivalent.

Candidates with HSC vocational or 10+2 ITI/ITI COE should have passed SSC (10th Std) or equivalent examination with subjects English, Mathematics and Science.

Eligibility of the student for the specific branches of Diploma programmes shall be as per the DTE guidelines.
