You are not eligible to become a Medical Lab Technologist after the completion of your BSc Zoology. Candidates after completing B.M.L.T( Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology) or D.M.L.T courses are only eligible to apply for the above post.

However, Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or DMLT course is another popular course after BSc Zoology. The eligibility for this course is 10+2 and the duration of DMLT program is 2 years and can be pursued either after 12th or after completing BSc Zoology. You can pursue post graduation in MLT after DMLT .

Yes you can do post graduation in medical laboratory Technology after completing Bachelor of Science in Zoology. The candidate must have completed his Bachelor of Science degree with minimum 40% aggregate marks from a recognised University. The candidates who have completed their graduation either in chemistry or biotechnology are also eligible following medical laboratory Technology post graduation.
