The IELTS has four parts – Listening (30 minutes), Reading (60 minutes), Writing (60 minutes) and Speaking (11–14 minutes). The total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes. The Listening, Reading and Writing tests are done in one sitting.
Each part is scored on a scale of 0-9 and then the average of the 4 sections is your score. You need to first understand How to calculate and understand IELTS Scores . Once you understand the scores you may then see what areas are your strength and what are your weaknesses and how you can balance the 4 areas to get your desired scores.
