Hello Navin,

Last year, a minimum score of 530 or above was required to fetch one a seat in the following colleges under EWS category.

  • Nalanda medical college and hospital
  • Dharbhanga medical college and hospital
  • Indira Gandhi institute of medical sciences

The NEET UG 2019 Cut off is determined by difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, State topper rank or score and Category. So you have chances to secure MBBS seat in Government college. Even if private, you need to qualify their Entrance test with their Counciling or Interview.

Dear Navin, in 2019 after Round 1, under State Quota, 580 marks secured an All India Rank of 13289 and a State Category Rank of 176 remained the cut off for Government Medical Colleges under EWS Category. With 556 marks, you might get a seat in Round 2. Approximately 190 seats have been added to accomodate EWS reservation. There is no information about EWS reservation in Private Medical Colleges. So if your EWS Category rank is below 190, you have a chance.
