Hello dear,
Yes you can get a seat in Government Medical College with 525 marks.
For example, last year marks required under state quota for general category for following colleges are:-
Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore:- 512
Mysore Medical College, Mysore"- 443
Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli:- 455
Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary"- 428

As per you query I would like to tell you that you have fair chances of getting a seat in government medical college as last year least marks to secure a seat was 368 marks in ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Bangalore and Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Madikeri from your category under state quota ,talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category
