Now with the general category this rank is no enough to get you a seat in NITs unless your homestate is some northeast states like Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram etc.
To get an NIT being genera category student, you must have to target for 97.5+ percentile then only you can get a NIT with some decent branch.
Yes, you can get seats in private colleges with 92 percentile but if we talk about NITs then chances are less.
