Yes, you can get a Government Job after MD. Being a Doctor, you ideally have 2 main choices to yourself. Either ace the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination as work with the Government as a Medical Professional or incase you want a complete change in Career, you might prepare for UPSC Civil Services or maybe State PCS Exam.

Hello aspirant,

There are a lot of opportunities of jobs for doctors who have completed MD General Medicine in the public sector and in the government sector. The doctors can sit for exams of UPSC and get job opportunities in government sector firms. The doctors can seek job opportunities in railways, State PSCs, State medical Colleges, etc. For this job opportunities the aspirant does not require any super speacialisation like dm.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
