These are Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities. Now in 2019, the top NEET score was 701. And to qualify in NEET, if you belong to General Category, you should secure a minimum of 50 percentile of the top NEET score and it is 40 percentile of the top NEET score for OBC,SC,ST. Now this is just the qualifying cut off. Now cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. With a score of 200, your rank might be in lakhs. Coming to the Counselling part, as we said we have GMCs, Private Medical Colleges and Deemed/Central Universities, counselling for these seats happens at 2 levels; All India Counselling and State Counselling. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. So with a score of 200, you cannot get into any of the Top Medical Colleges, Deemed/Central Universities or GMCs either. AIIMS and JIPMER might have a cut off of above 60. AFMC in 2019 had a cut off of 596 for boys and 610 for girls. So just to answer your question, 200 cannot get you a seat in any Medical College leaving the top Colleges.
Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. I'm sorry to inform you but no you can't get admission in top Private or government medical college by just qualifying NEET with 200 marks as we'll know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank.
I request you to please help me with your category so that I can check and provide you the exact information.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
