    A normal visitor visa, which takes the place of the short-term study visa as of December 1, 2020, permits the study of short courses (less than six months), according to the section on immigration and visas. However, you will need to apply for a short-term study visa if you plan to enroll in an English language programme lasting 6 to 11 months.
