Hi,
Even if you qualify neet 2021 they'll happily accept you. Reason for this is their hefty fees that is 26 lakh per year, 1–2 lakh hostels per year. Hardly any parent will be willing to pay this. They have 212 seats which needs to be filled.
The problem with DY Patil is the fees. The exorbitant amount the college charges for it's tuition fees is something most people are just incapable of affording.
In obvious hindsight, a higher fee structure will entail a lower cutoff, since each score band will only have so many people who can afford the fees and are willing to afford it.
Talking specifically, there wasn't any proper cutoff determined here because only around half the seats were filled by the time the counselling was done and before they could schedule further counselling, the Directorate of Medical Education : Maharashtra was ordered to hold a common counselling for all the deemed colleges by a new ruling that had come midway, hence the score range for the first NEET batch is very variable.
Having said that, there are people with scores as high as 430 [ A very relative high ] and as low as 150. It’s a very wide range and doesn't really serve the purpose a cutoff does.
What one must remember in making a decision here, is that the teaching here is absolutely wonderful and the hospital here has plenty of cases since it follows the path of govt hospitals in that it has free healthcare.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
