NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And NEET is also mandatory to study MBBS/BDS abroad. And NEET score is valid for 1 academic year if you want to study MBBS in India. But if you want to study MBBS/BDS abroad, the same NEET score is valid for 3 years. For example, if you have appeared for NEET 2019, it can be used only for the Academic year 2019-20 if you want to study MBBS, BDS, Ayush or Veterinary Courses across India. But if you want to study MBBS abroad, then NEET 2019 score is valid until the Academic year 2021-22. All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC , AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. Now once NEET results have been announced, the DGHS will release the merit list and also the online registration process for All India Counselling will begin. Once you qualify in NEET, you can register online for the Counselling process. You will be required to pay a non refundable registration fees and refundable security deposit fees as directed. Now at this point in time NEET 2020 has been scheduled for September 13th and so if the exam is conducted as per schedule, the registration process might begin anywhere from October 2nd or 3rd week. You can take admission based on the result of previous year. You need to qualify the entrance of NEET for the same. NEET has three year validity of its score card from the date of result declaration. Score Card are valid for next three year.
