Dear Student,

The Higher Secondary marks is not the parameter for admission there. You have to score minimum 50% marks in 10+2th level for giving the entrance examination. The previous years cut offs said that you need minimum 400/720 marks in NEET for admission there. But there is some facilities for ST, SC, and OBC category students in the cut off marks.

Sumrit, you havent mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. You have secured 47% percentage. So if you belong to SC,ST or you belong to OBC and your Community is listed in the Central OBC list, you are eligible for NEET. But if you belong to General Category, then unfortunately you are not eligible for NEET.

Admission to BHMS homeopathy ffield is based upon the NEET score only. And as per the NEET eligiblity criteria, you need 50% and above in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Biology these subjjects and since your total is 142 out of 300 looks like you have failed to fulfill the criteria. But this criteria is for GENERAL CATEGORY. For  reserved category there is 10% releaxation ie 40% and above needed.

Refer to the site below to know more about the eligibility criteria of NEET -
