Hello dear student,
No it's really difficult for you to get admission in any government medical college at this marks . Last year even at 560 people were not able to get admission in government medical college. You can expect this year the competition will be more and you have to get Atleast of 580 marks or above to be sure to get admission in government medical college. I hope this is helpful to you .
Best regards Apoorva
Thank you
Hi Arnab
I am attaching opening and closing ranks of 2019 to get an idea about the cut offs https://static.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/OPENING-CLOSING-RANK-FOR-WB_b6EvOZ3.pdf
Hope this helps you
All the best!
You may get a seat with 520 marks but I will suggest you that you should try to get at least around 550 marks dear for getting as seat in government medical college in west bengal under state quota for general category
For example, if I tell you about neet 2018 then lowest marks that fetched a seat under state quota in west bengal for general category was 479 marks and it was for Maldah Medical College, Maldah.
But neet cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing every year depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc.
So , I will suggest you that you should try to get at 550 marks dear for getting as seat in government medical college in west bengal. Also more is your marks better is the college you get
I hope that it helps you
Good luck for your neet preparation.
