Can I get admission in BIT Sindri through Jharkhand combined examination ?

Yes, you have to appear for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) to get into BIT Sindri. This examination is conducted by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Jharkhand.The cut off will be announced by the BIT Sindri after the declaration of JCECE Result.

Below are the few important highlights of JCECE Cut off 2018:

• It will be lower for Computer Science Engineering this year also. However the seat intake is similar.
• Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Civil Engineering might have similar cut off for JCECE.

The examination will be conducted in an offline mode. The application forms of JEECE 2019 will be available in an online mode from the third week of April, 2019 and the last date to apply for JEECE 2019 will be in the first week of May, 2019. The JEECE 2019 exam will be conducted in the third week of May, 2019 and the results of JEECE 2019 will be announced by the last week of June, 2019.

The following criteria are to be met as given below :

• Residential Criteria: The candidates applying for the JEECE 2019 should be the local or permanent resident of Jharkhand. The candidate would be required to present the resident proof in the given format at the time of counselling issued by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State.
• Academic Criteria: Candidates must have cleared the Class 12 th boards or equivalent with at least 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry. For the reserved categories, the criteria is set to 40% marks.
• Age: There is no such age limit to apply for the JEECE 2019 exam.
• Physical Criteria: Candiates will be required to go through medical examination by the board or the institute. Only the medically fit candidates will be given the admission.
