Can i get admission in DTU colleg after passing from NIOS 12th board... And also passing from mains xam..?

Hello

Admission in B.Tech courses in Delhi Technological University is done on the basis of All India Rank in JEE Main paper 1 and yes, NIOS students are eligible for admission.


Counseling for admission to DTU will be done by Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi and JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria is as follows-

Qualifying Examinations : Candidates must have passed -

(i) Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course)  of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

(iii) Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE

However, candidates who had compartment in any subject and have passed the qualifying exam in Compartment will not be eligible to apply for admission.

Minimum Marks Required in Qualifying Examination-
-Candidates should have secured 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
-Candidate must have studied and passed English (Core or Elective) as a subject at the Senior School Certificate examination.
-The candidate is also required to have passed in each of the mentioned subjects separately.

There is relaxation in the Qualifying marks for reserved category candidates.
5% relaxation for OBC- NCL candidates.
10% relaxation for Scheduled Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST)
5% relaxation for Defence (CW)
10% relaxation for Differently Abled Person (PD)

Age Limit-

There is no minimum or Maximum age limit to appear for admission to DTU.

Region-


Out of the total seats, 85% seats are available for Delhi Region Candidates and 15% seats for Outside Delhi Region candidates.
If you have passed your qualifying examination through National Institute of Open School, Delhi (NIOS) then the location of your exam centre will be used to decide the region.
If the centre of your examination is located in the NCT of Delhi, you shall be considered under the Delhi Region and if the centre of examination is located outside NCT of Delhi, you shall be considered under the Outside Delhi Region.

I have done my class 11th and 12th from kota (cbse board) and willing to repeat 12th from delhi through NIOS. Would I be considered a delhi student who is eligible for 85% state quota if I choose my nios study center in delhi?
