Hello!

Yes, You can take admission in DU on merit basis in M.Sc. Botany. DU PG admission 2020  will be conducted on the basis of both entrance-based and merit-based marks and percentages.

Cut off 2019 for msc botany :-

General- 86.52

OBC (NCL)- 80.88

SC- 76.90

ST- 73.17

EWS- 75.74

From this you can estimate the cut off for 2020.

The factors that determine the cutoff of DU PG 2020 includes the cutoff trends of the previous year, number of test-takers, number of applicants for the programme and the number of seats offered.

Thankyou!

Hope it helps!

Hi,
MSc botany is one of the best courses that Delhi University provides.
As per previous year (2019) list DU has provided admission to students with an aggregate of almost 73%. So assuming that the 77% you have mentioned which must be your overall CGPA of the six semesters then it is possible that you may get admission in this year MSc Botany programme.
