Hello Girish,

Bachelor of Commerce is a full time three years undergraduate course in any government college.

The admission in the government universities in provided on the basis of merit obtained in Class 12 from any recognised state or board. There is no entrance examination to take admission in any government colleges.

You must belong to commerce stream to be eligible to take admission and must have cleared class 12 with atleast 50 percent marks and rest it depends upon various cutoffs.

There are several categories like General, SC, ST or OBC in which you can take admissions and some relaxations are provided in cutoffs for people belonging to any other category than General.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!
