Hello gamot,

Neet is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS  and other medical and paramedical courses in India. The exam is organised by the National Testing Agency.

Admissions through NEET are basically categorised in two types of quota i.e., All India Quota (AIQ) and State Level Quota. All India Quota comprises 15 per cent of the overall seats and the rest of the 85 per cent are filled under state-level quota.

As per your question, you have got 482 marks in neet which is a good score, you can get  MBBS seat under state quota or private college very easily but not under AIQ government seat. As you belong to ews category so its quite possible to predict about college but can't  promise about it as cut-off changes year to year.

Hope this will help you a lot,

Thank you.

Dear Dipak, you havent mentioned the State you hold domicile of. This is important because every State has different cut offs. While this score can get you a seat in UP, it is difficult in a State like Rajasthan. With MCI approving increase in Medical Seats in all Medical Colleges across India, you might actually have a chance in a Government Medical College. Please do help us with your State so that we can lay down your options for you. You can also use our College Predictor services to check your options:

Hello,

If I consider previous years data, then there are least or almost no chance for you to land up in government medical college for a general category candidate.

You have not mentioned your state, you may get admission in government colleges through state quota and if are from reserved category, then it can help to grab seat in good colleges.

You can also check the colleges you can get from the link mentioned below

These results are based on your rank, it can differ with the rank.

This is just a prediction based on previous years records. The cut off  vary every year depending upon the difficulty level of question paper and availability of seats.

Hope this helps,

Regards!
