Can I get admission in hansraj college on only merit basis, without taking part in CATE exam

Hello dear
Yes you can take admission on merit basis.Earlier for admission to BA English university used to conduct CATE exam but it scraped off in 2013 around.This year also there will be no cate exam.Admissions will be on merit basis this year as well.
