No HBTU kanpur dont take students from UPSEE from 2017 to get admission to HBTU you have to first give jee mains scoring  a decent marks in it around 170-180 an dthen separately apply for HBTU counselling which is held in the month of april .I think for 2019 the cuttoff would be above 90 percentile .
