Lovely Professional University conducts the National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to its various courses. It is conducted in online mode every year for admission to more than 150 programmes. The test acts as an Entrance Test as well as Scholarship Test. The amount of scholarship is determined by the marks and rank obtained by candidates in the exam. yes you can get direct admission in LPU without the NEST. NEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test) is totally based on the scholarship criteria.

There is a lot of advantages of appearing for LPU- NEST, including attractive scholarship. I would advise you to apply for LPU NEST, it’s much easier that way plus it has more scholarship chances but without it also you can take the admission.

Hi Gowthami, you can get admission in LPU without taking entrance test. However you cannot take admission in those programs for which entrance test is mandatory. Let me tell you entrane test is not only an admission test, it is scholarship test as well. So you will get scholarship with your LPUNEST score.

Yes, you can get admission to the various programmes without the LPUNEST exam such as BA, BCA, BBA, BCom, BFA, etc. based on your marks in the 12th class.

However, you can appear for the LPUNEST exam for scholarship purpose. LPU offers 150+ programmes in several disciplines such as fine arts, management, engineering. pharmacy, law, architecture, etc. in both regular and ODL mode. LPU is spread across 600 acres of land with natural beauty and 1200+ acres of agricultural land for Agriculture students.
