Hello aspirant,

No, you can not get admission in colleges of Maharashtra by giving GUJCET.

Candidates are shortlisted for admission to BTech and BPharma programs provided by different universities in Gujarat through the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET). The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board administers the test (GSEB).

Thank you

Hi,

No, you cannot get admission in the Maharashtra colleges after qualifying GUJCET exams. With GUJCET marks you will get admission to the colleges of Gujarat. To get admission in Maharashtra colleges you will have to qualify (MHT CET) Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as MHT CET, is a state-level entrance test to select candidates for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs at various colleges throughout Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The difficulty level of MHT CET 2025 exam is similar to the JEE Mains.

Hope this information will help you

Yes, you can get admission to a college in Maharashtra after giving GUJCET, but it depends on the specific college and course you are applying for. Most colleges in Maharashtra accept students through entrance exams like MHT-CET or JEE Main. However, some private institutions may consider GUJCET scores for admission.

Hello there,

GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is primarily for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and pharmacy in Gujarat. It is not applicable for admissions in Maharashtra colleges. For admission to Maharashtra colleges, you will need to appear for the entrance exams specific to the courses you're interested in.

For example:

  • JEE Main for B.Tech (if you're interested in engineering).
  • MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) for various undergraduate courses including engineering, pharmacy, and agricultural courses.

So, if you're planning to study in Maharashtra, you'd typically need to appear for the relevant Maharashtra exams like MHT CET , depending on the course you're aiming for.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

To get admission to colleges in Maharashtra, you typically need to appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, depending on the college and course.

GujCET is the state-level entrance exam for Gujarat, and its scores are primarily accepted by colleges in Gujarat.

Possible Ways to Get Admission in Maharashtra Colleges

1. JEE Main scores: If you've appeared for JEE Main, you can use those scores to apply to colleges in Maharashtra that accept JEE Main scores.

2. MHT-CET scores: Some colleges in Maharashtra might accept GujCET scores, but it's not a common practice. You can check with the specific colleges you're interested in to see if they accept GujCET scores.

3. Institutional quota: Some colleges in Maharashtra might have an institutional quota, which allows them to admit students based on their own criteria. You can check with the colleges directly to see if they have any seats available under this quota.

4. Management quota: Some private colleges in Maharashtra might have a management quota, which allows them to admit students based on their own criteria. You can check with the colleges directly to see if they have any seats available under this quota.

Colleges to Consider

Here are a few colleges in Maharashtra that you might consider:

1. College of Engineering, Pune (COEP): COEP is a prestigious engineering college that accepts JEE Main scores.

2. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI): VJTI is another well-known engineering college that accepts JEE Main scores.

3. K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering: This college accepts MHT-CET scores, but you can check with them to see if they accept GujCET scores.

Next Steps

1. Check college websites: Research the colleges you're interested in and check their websites for admission criteria and procedures.

2. Contact college admissions offices: Reach out to the admissions offices of the colleges you're interested in to ask about their admission procedures and whether they accept GujCET scores.

3. Prepare for additional exams: If you need to appear for additional exams like JEE Main or MHT-CET, start preparing for them to increase your chances of getting admission to a good college.

GOOD LUCK!!
