Can i get admission in mbbs by giving mhcet

No you cannot get admission on the basis of your MHT CET score because for admission to MBBS NEET score is mandatory so without appearing for NEET you cannot get admission in MBBS course not only in India, even in abroad.

For your reference NEET eligibility criteria is given below :-

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

You cannot get into mbbs through MHTCET .

This is because,

Admission in mbbs is through NEET examination only.

NEET is mandatory to get admission  in all the medical colleges be it private or government  including AIIMS and JIPMER  for

• MBBS

• BDS

• Ayush courses( Ayurveda i. e BAMS , Unani i.e B. U. M. S, Siddha i. e BSMS, and Homeopathy i.e BHMS ) and

• veterinary i. e BVSc. ( neet is mandatory for only all india quota bvsc seats offered through AIPVT counselling, as some states also have their own entrance like RPVT in Rajasthan for state quota seats)

Here's how you can do mbbs

-----------------) Appear in Neet examination

• To be eligible you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category. -----------------) Qualify neet examination. Qualifying cut off in neet is given below

• General :- 50th Percentile

• OBC:-  40th Percentile

• SC :-40th Percentile

• ST :-  40th percentile

To be on the safer side, out of 720 marks, target at least around 580 -600 marks for state quota mbbs seats and 650 marks in neet for All india quota mbbs seats if you belong to general category to get a seat in a Government Medical College

• Mcc counselling :- It is conducted for 15% AIQ seats, 100% Deemed Universities seats, Central Universities  seats (Delhi University, AMU & BHU ), 100% ESIC seats , AFMC  seats (only Registration Part) & I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML & ESIC Dental, Delhi ,100% AIIMS seats & 100% JIPMER seats
