can i get admission in noida international institute of medical sciences (niims) if my marks in neet 2021 is 272 because cut off increased almost by 100 marks last year and it was a new college? can i get into this college in counselling last year cut off was 252!
Hey shrey, You will get this college if you are marking around 300. The cutoff will go high this year for many private colleges including Nims. The reason is, increase in the cutoff of government medical colleges.
Let's examine some pros and cons of NIIMS-
Cons-
- It's recently established, lack promising staff and driving hospital, OPDs are basically vacant will be for 2-3 more years. And Practice is the heart & soul of MBBS. You will be 2nd batch and feel risked.
- So many students failed in semester exams during covid, this is a delicate matter, since learners could not attend classes there was no point failing them. But, the rule is if you fail the exam, you need to pay a Fine which is hefty.
- Tons of restrictions, like You can not wear T-shirts and jeans, slippers, No long hairs are entertained.
- In the village, to buy simple stationary you need to travel 10 km.
Pros-
- In the NCR region.
- Good infrastructure.
- A-C Hostel facility.
What are must expected qualities of an MBBS college?
- Must have at least finalised one batch.
- A good operating hospital, filled with patients and not empty
- NMC recognised
- Must have remarked faculties.
- Good reputation
If you are scoring 272, Personal suggestion is to choose other colleges which are under TOP 10 and their cut off will not surge like Niims without any reason. With 272, you will easily get many reputed college in Lucknow.
Top 10 college of UP are-
- SRM, Bareilly
- Sharda
- Subharti
- Hind, Barabanki
- Rohilkand
- Muzaffarnafar medical college
- Heritage, Varanasi
- Saraswati medical college
- Rama medical college
- Hind Sitapur.
Hi. The cut off for neet every year for different institutes varies, as it depends on a number of factors. It depends on the number of candidates applying, the highest marks obtained, number of candidates who have scored above the cut off marks required and so on. It also depends upon the category you are applying for. Generally the cut off marks for unreserved seats is high as compared to seats that come under any quota, and the cut off for AIQ is always usually higher than the former ones.
