Candidates are offered admission at Osmania University at three levels: undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. In total, 80 courses are offered at the university for Osmania University admissions such as B.Sc. , B.Com, B.A. , M.Sc.,M.Com, M.A. etc. Osmania University admissions are offered in the following areas: arts, humanities and social sciences, media, mass communication and journalism, commerce, computer application and IT, sciences, medicine and allied sciences, education, hospitality and tourism, engineering and architecture, management and business administration, animation and design, pharmacy and law . Osmania University admission is both entrance and merit-based. For some courses such as B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, marks in the qualifying exam will be considered for Osmania University UG admissions whereas, for B.Com (Hons), the varsity conducts an entrance test. Admissions to B.PEd. are made by the Convener PECET as per merit at the PECET conducted by the APSCHE.
