According to the new rules, admissions to all AYUSH courses, which includes BAMS, are through the merit list of NEET examination only.
If the candidate has not appeared for NEET 2019 or has not qualified in it will not be eligible for admission to the BAMS course.

The National testing agency, official conducting authority of NEET has made it clear that in order to qualify for any medical college in India (government/ private)- a candidate needs to qualify the cut-off of NEET.
So you have to appear for neet and qualify it according to your category

NEET is compulsory for getting admission into the BAMS or any other AYUSH courses. You cannot get admission into any of the private or government Institute without having a valid score in the NEET. It is mandatory for appearing into NEET.
For NEET exam, candidates need to have 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics Chemistry Biology and English for general category from a recognised board and 45% for a reserved category student.
