No, it is not necessary to have mathematics in class 12th to apply for B.COM (//B.COM) hons. Though, it is preferred to have a commerce background. Punjab University conducts a written test for selection.
The sections in the entrance exams are as follows:
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs
- Aptitude for Law
- Mental Ability
- Proficiency in the English Language
