Dear Aspirant, Some particulars in reference to the criteria for admission to the honours courses are listed below: 1) A candidate must have pass-marks in at least four recognised subjects (of full marks not being less than 100 each) one of which must be English. 2) A candidate must have passed in the General (Elective) subjects applied for. 3) Marks obtained in top four subjects are considered to ascertain the aggregate marks of a candidate passing the examination under grade system. 4) The marks obtained in Environmental Education, as a compulsory subject, are not taken into account for calculating the aggregate marks in the top four subjects, for the purpose of admission to the degree course of studies in the SCC. 5) Admission to the SCC is determined by the merits (based on Index Mark) that the candidates obtain in their previous qualifying examination. 6) An SC/ST applicant must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination
PROCEDURE: Visit the official website of the college and click on Academics tab. Click on Admissions tab and then click on the link given for online application at the bottom of the page. Click on the tab for the course you wish to apply for, fill the form online and upload the recent passport size photograph of 3.5 x 4.5 cm in jpg/png/gif format with not more than 50 kb size. Click on submit. For B.Ed., candidates have an option to pay the fees either through challan or through online mode. In case of bank challan, take a print out of unique application number and two-part bank deposit challan and tender the application fees by cash using Bank Deposit Challan at HDFC Bank, Moulali Branch. Candidates can check the application status online three days after remitting application fees in the Bank. Candidate can later print the filled in application form by entering Date of Birth and Application Number. Application fees: INR 300
