Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
Admission to SGSITS Indore is based on a number of variables. The main elements that affect your likelihood of being admitted are:
1. Your main JEE scorecard.
2. Your class ( General,obc,sc,St).
3. Additional quotas (like defence etc).
4. The number of assigned seats.
(a) To qualify for the CS branch, you must receive a score of at least 190 in the general category with no other quotas.
(b) The same is 170+ for mechanical and EE.
(c)The percentage drops to 100–120+ for other branches.
(d) If you fall under the OBC category, you can still apply with 20 to 30 marks less.
(Not always, as it also depends on the demand for a specific stream, but in the majority of cases you may do the same with the aforementioned scorecard.)
(e) Additionally, if you fall into the SC or ST categories, you will receive CS up to 50+, ME&EE up to 30+, and other up to 20+.
(f) If you have any additional quotas, such as those for defence, you will surpass this figure by approximately 110–130 for CS, 90–120 for OB, and 70–80 for others ( but the seats are limited ) Disability is the same; they can obtain it with 30 to 50+ in any branch.
(g) Other categories outside of the state quota have the opportunity to enrol with a minimum score of up to 5 marks* (sometimes it's even lower for applicants from the J&K with sc/St).
