Can i get admission in symbiosis pune for a BA honors in psychology if my 12th percent are 56% (PCM). If not please advise.

BA (Honors) in Psychology is offered at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce (SCAC). However, it is not affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU), instead it comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University. The new admissions will be based on the following:
- All admissions will be based on Merit and as per the Reservation policy of Govt. of Maharashtra.
- Admission process will start only after the XIIth std. results of H.S.C. Maharashtra Board examinations are declared (i.e. by June 1st week)
- You have to register by filling Pre-Merit application form online. The form will be available on the official website of Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce.
- While filling the Pre-Merit form you have to put the the total marks of all the subjects and required information. Then pay the required fees.
- If your name appears in the Merit List, you need to personally go to the college in Pune and complete the admission processes.
- The eligibility criteria for the college will be declared by the Government of Maharashtra.

1. Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Pune
It offers a four years B.A (Liberal Arts) Honors, in the second year (ie. third semester) it lets you choose your major and minor. In such a course you have the freedom to experiment with majors and minors. Psychology is one of the offered majors. You will extensively study Psychology for three years along with a huge number of cores and electives.
Eligibility Criteria:
You should have passed from CBSE, HSC, ICSE with at least 50% (Open Category) and 45% (SC, ST) in the 12th Standard.
You need to write a Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).
SET:
For SSLA you need to write the SET General paper.
It is of 150 marks and includes 40 questions each of Quantitative Reasoning, General English and General Awareness, and it has 30 questions of Analytical and Logical Reasoning.
For admissions you need to have a minimum of 50% SET score.
2. Mumbai University:
There are multiple college under Mumbai University which offer a very extensive B.A (Hons.) program like - Xaviers, Sophia, Mithibai, Jai Hind.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects
English
Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign
Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology
Any four subjects carrying 100 marks each.
OR
Candidate must have completed Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination with vocational subject conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:-
English
Any one vocational subject carrying 200 marks prescribed by the Board from time to time.
Any three subjects carrying 100 marks each.
OR
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) examination with the Minimum Competency based vocational courses conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with the following subjects:-
English
Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or Classical Language or Information Technology
General Foundation Course.
Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competency based vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination from time to time.
3. Delhi University:
There are multiple colleges under Delhi University which offer an amazing course in Psychology like- Kamla Nehru College, Gargi College.
You can apply to the program only if you have passed from CBSE or any other recognised board.
You must have an aggregate of 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination (for BA Honors only)
The cut-off for Mumbai University and Delhi University affiliated colleges are only declared once the Maharashtra Board Results come out.
Colleges usually lower their cut-offs after the initial rush ends, thus there are many chances that you will get into a college for B.A (Hons.) program. As most colleges let out 4-5 merit lists there are many chances of getting in into good colleges with low marks.
