Hello!
No, you cannot get admission into IIT/NIT by AIEESE. AIEESE is only for giving scholarship for the students for 4 years course.
You can only get admission through JEE AND JEE MAINS.
AIEESE (Secondary) examination -2020 provides a platform of support to all IIT/NIT/IIIT/GFTI/ICAR/TOP Universities.
Here's the list of colleges which accepts JEE Score:
IIT Kharagpur
IIT Kanpur
IIT Delhi
IIT Mumbai
IIT chennai
IIT guwahati
Anna University, Chennai
Indian School of Mines Dhanbad
Delhi College of engineering DCE
Hello Aspirant,
See AIEESE is a scholarship examination which stands for ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION and this examination is conducted only to assist the Engineering aspirants to avail an opportunity of admission to its participating institutes with up to four years tuition fee as Scholarship . This examination is not conducted for admissions whereas for admission to IITs(B.Tech/BE), it is done only on the basis of JEE-Advance score , and in NITs(B.Tech/BE) admission is done only on the basis of JEE-Main score not on the basis of AIEESE.
Also note that for JEE-Advance you have to first qualify JEE-Main, and for JEE-Main you have to satisfy the following criterion :-
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
