Hello,
Generally AIQ cut-offs are higher that state ones, and General Category has the highest cut-offs than any other category, hence it becomes more important to score high marks in order to secure a GMC seat, if we go through previous year data the cut-off for General Category through AIQ has largely been above 580-590 marks for except only Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences(cut-off mark was 409 with respective rank of 119996), even for government dental college through AIQ, the cut-off was above 560 marks for General Category, from your profile it seems you belong to UP which has pretty high cutoffs, last year 575 marks with respective rank of 14621 secured a seat in Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich and further considering the fact that there are higher chances of cut-offs increasing this year, as the entire marks vs rank has gone through a drastic shift in terms of increasing of 30-40 marks make it quite tough in your case for getting GMC through state quota or AIQ, but you hold chances for private colleges such as Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences,School of Medical Sciences, (Sharda University), Subharti Medical College, Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital to name a few.
Cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.
