The eligibility criteria fpr the admission varies form the college to college or university in which you are seeking admission. I can give you some details related to the admission criteria in LPU. In LPU The eligibility varies form the program to program. In some programs direct admission on the basis of pass status or minimum 50% marks in 10+2 is there like in BCA, BBA, BCOM etc.

Where as in others minimum 60% is required in 10+2 like in BTECH or in Hons programs.

How ever relaxation of 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defence Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

Hi there, I will give you a brief overview of LPUs programs. The eligibility for B Tech, BBA Hons, BSc Hons and B Com hons programs is 60 percent. The eligibility for B Com, BCA and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
