the admission procedure merit list will be basis of the JEE score and ranking

so you can get admission through the JEE mains

To join any IIST you have to give JEE Advance exam and have to qualify.

JEE mains won't help you to get an admission in any IIST college.

the eligibility criteria is :-

• +2 aggergate must be above 75% with PCM as the compulsory subject
  
• and secure atleast 20% aggergate in JEE advance and 5% marks in each subjects.
  

the competion is very tough as the seat matrix is 60 even and candidates are in 1000s of number.
