Hello,
According to the prveious year cutoff ranks in Josaa 2018 special round,it will be difficult to get a seat in some of the NIT's.
For a general category student, most of the NIT's like MNIT-Allahabad,VNIT-Nagpur,NIT Bhopal...etc have their closing ranks around 50k.
And is you are ready to compromise your branch, then you can get branches like, plastic, polymer,Bio Tech,.....etc in north east NIT's that are not good also.
So i can only say that you should wait for the special round of JOSAA,and see which choice is alloted to you.
You can accept it or leave it.
That decision is yours!
Thank You!
All the Best!
If any queries, feel free to ask.
Regards!

It's quite difficult for you to secure a seat in any of the nits/iiits/gftis as your rank is too low to fetch you any seat, you might get a seat if you have some category or home state quota of north eastern states. Otherwise it's very difficult.
You can try for different private and state colleges which accept jee mains score such as Nirma, Chandigarh university, cv Raman.
Or take a drop for an year and prepare once again for jee.
Hope it helps.
