Dear Laksman, once you complete your B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, go to the official webiste: http://dgshipping.gov.in/index.aspx and check for RPSL list. There are few shipping companies that run their own Institutions while few shipping companies that run the course and let other Institutes hire their candidates. Now you either can reach out to each company or wait for an official notification from these companies.

Actually it is not very easy to get a sponsorship for gme course because the industry is a bit dull now & the companies doesnt want any trainee marine engineers ,because they are many good colleges working in coordinance with majour companies,so if you try to find a sponsorship indepentantly then either you should have a good mentor ( close relatives working on ship) to introduce you to various companies

Otherwise there may be many agents who dials that privately. Most of them will be of course frauds.

So my suggestion is, you should try to get into a good

Institute which offer good placements. So there will not be any problem for sponsorship.
