can I get better job opportunity after b.sc(h) electronics from keshav mahavidyalaya , tell me about placements in this college
When you are taking a BSc(H) course , you are opting to the realm of science not its application. The application of science in the real world is important but a BSc degree doesn't suffice the most exposure which can give you a support to industrial application.
Although in Keshav Mahavidyalaya there are placement facilities but the placement rate is very low. Its up to your skill you can have a placement depending how much you can make yourself valuable for industrial application purpose.
BSc(H)in Electronics is a great field of study and if you cant get a job after BSc. You can get a job after MSc. Government agencies like ISRO recruits a lot of scientist from the field of Electronics. So you will get a ample exposure to jobs.
Also you can go for active research like Semi-conductor electronics , solid state electronics by giving exams in different universities across India for a Integrated PhD after your BSc , for which you will get a stipend which is equal to a starting salary of freshers in most of the corporates(Rs.36000).
So academia as well as jobs , you have a ample scope to explore. For Jobs you have to made yourself valuable in terms of practical skills where as for academia you have to focus on the theoretical as well as experimental aspects of your subject.
And last but not the least you may get a job in placement but the probability is low and if you get then the packages will not be satisfactory enough.
I hope my answer helps you. Wish you all the best for your future endeavors!
Dear aspirant, the college placements from Keshav mahavidyalaya for BSC in electronics are not much great. 30% students for placed with an average package of 2LPA. The highest package offered last year was about 2.5LPA. The placements are a bit disappointing. You can go for masters through GATE from IISC or any reputed IITs, it would be a booster. You can also go into PSU via IES or GATE if you want to be a part of government sector. You can opt for MSC degree also through IIT JAM and can get into teaching jobs as well. Earlier Gate was not allowing the BSc. students to sit for the exams but from 2021 you can.
All the best.
hello aspirant
keshav mahavidyalya is a good and decent college in terms of placements. there are less college campus placements but they have central placement as a part of DU off campus.DU placement cell gives more opprtuntities and placements to students.companies like paytm, wipro, genpact , oyo etc come for placement. you will decent package 3lpa (average). it is not very good college in placement compared to more colleges of DU according to alumni reviews.
