Can I get BS-Ms degree for physics in any new iiser with 66 marks in IAT 2019 for general category? Pls let me know soon

Hello,

Seems quite difficult. Last year, the cutoff was 72/180 for the GEN category. Despite some feedback terming this year's paper as tougher, it stands that the number of candidates would very likely have also shot up this year. Hence, 65 would be a tough call. At best, maybe a seat at any of the newer IISERs seems a lucky scenario. However, do hold on for the allotments, and the later rounds too. It will be a tough call to predict but this is certainly a borderline case and you cannot be sure of getting a seat in any IISER. Had it been with OBC category also, you stood a chance. You should keep your other options open too.

@Aniket Prasad well im fine with new iisers as well but is there a good chance for getting a seat in physics in any new iisers at least?

I don't know if you know that or not...IISER works different...you don't get to choose your major subject before 2nd year....
