Hello Aspirant,
The Veterinary Council of India's most recent guidelines state that a BVSc programme should last 5.5 years, split into 10 semesters and one year of required internship.
After completing your Diploma in Veterinary Science, you can choose to enroll in the BVSc & AH (Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) programme. You already have your diploma, so it would be a four-year course for you. Training in exotic animal care, disease detection, nutrition, and animal husbandry is part of the B.V.Sc. and AH syllabus.
Entrance Exams for BVSc: For admission to bachelor's programmes in veterinary sciences, the All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) was taken into consideration. NEET results are now taken into account for BVSc admission, though, as of 2017.
