Hello, Ganapativn

Can you please tell clearly, which rank you are talking about. Okay, if you are talking about JEE rank as you posted in the Engineering topis let me asnwer about the JEE.

If you get 3-4 lakh rank in the JEE exam you may not get a good college and the course you want to join. And on the other hand the university fee of the NIT's is affordable by the middle class families so Mr. Ganapativn no need to worry about the fee, firt you try to get more score in the JEE exam.

All the best for your future.

Thank you.

Hello

Concession in fees is provided by colleges to meritorious students and candidates belonging to the reserved category.

Every college/ institute has its own criteria. Kindly mention that you are seeking admission in which college/university?

Also, if you have 3-4 lakhs rank in JEE Main exam, it would be difficult to get admission in any decent college with this rank.

Good Luck!
